BUILDING CONNECTIONS
Citibot CEO, Bratton Riley, recently connected with Victoria Hansen from South Carolina Public Radio to discuss the inspiration behind Citibot and how it operates, as well as where the future of his business is heading.
Riley states that his father, the former Mayor of Charleston, and Mark Zuckerberg both sparked his decision to create Citibot. His desire to make government accessible to everyone and the rise of chatbots in modern technology, ultimately helped to solidify his decision.
Riley explains that artificial intelligence, the fuel that supports Citibot, may have a techy and mysterious sound to it, but it’s used to make everyone's lives a lot easier. Citibot is about building lasting relationships; to ensure that government and civic interaction will be worthwhile, on both ends. The chatbots friendly approach, answer-driven tactics and back-end capabilities help foster a bond where trust and reliability can flourish.
Citibot’s technology is the future of customer service. We want to humanize technology by changing the way people interact with it, making the process more natural, less systematic and a whole lot simpler.
