CITIBOT IN NASHVILLE AT NACO

CITIBOT NEWS

For the past several months, Citibot has been traveling all over the country to attend conferences that connect government leaders with the technology industry. These events give us the chance to meet incredible people who are passionate about improving government and have been the conduit for sharing the ways Citibot is increasing citizen engagement.

We recently made a trip to Nashville to attend the 83rd Annual NACo Conference & Exhibition. The National Association of Counties (NACo) unites more than 3,000 county governments and brings leaders together at the annual conference to learn, network, and shape NACo's federal policy agenda.

Hundreds of attendees visited our booth to talk with us about our chatbot technology and learn more about how we’re changing the game for local governments all across our nation. Our friends from Charleston County even stopped by to say hello! It was a nice surprise to see a few familiar faces in the crowd, and we had a few minutes to catch-up and discuss the efficiencies that Citibot has already brought into their world.

While we were at NACo, we attended several conference sessions to learn more about what is happening in counties across the country. Our CEO, Bratton Riley, was asked to join a discussion panel on Using Communications and Marketing Platforms to Foster Community Cohesion. The panel showcased how technology and video communications are strengthening communities and economies through citizen engagement.

In our downtime, between conference sessions and networking, we explored some of the fun places and lively culture that Nashville is known for, including taking in country music at Station Inn and Tootsie’s and indulging in hot chicken from Acme Feed + Seed. Yum!

We left Nashville feeling inspired and energized by county thought leaders all over the US. In August, we’ll be heading south for the Florida League of Cities Annual Conference. Stay tuned for more news coming from Citibot!
