GLOUCESTER KICK-STARTS ENGAGEMENT
Citibot isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution for local government. Each of our clients face an unique set of challenges in their community. Once we understand how our clients want to improve the lives of their citizens, we can make our best recommendations for launching Citibot in their communities.
When we first met with the fine folks of Gloucester Township, NJ, they expressed a need for more direct connectivity with their citizens. Gloucester Township was also looking for ways to make their City Hall virtual and accessible to all citizens. With the ultimate goal of creating a more transparent relationship with their citizens, Citibot’s technology was a natural fit.
Gloucester Township officially launched Citibot in August 2018 and Mayor David Mayer is strongly encouraging citizens to integrate the service into their routines:
“Citibot is simple, conversational and more efficiently notifies the Township of residents’ issues, allowing us to get the job done quicker and more proficiently. Save the Citibot number in your phone and text us if you have a question or should you need to report an issue. Citibot is another initiative that Gloucester Township is taking to help boost citizen engagement and community involvement.”
We are so excited to watch how Citibot transforms citizen engagement in Gloucester Township over the next several months. To use Citibot in Gloucester Township, simply send a text message with the word “hello” to (856) 644-6414.
